Meet Alanna Coopersmith

Alanna Coopersmith serves as of counsel to Lamano Law Office. For over five years, she has collaborated with our firm on complex and serious cases. We are proud to have her as part of our team.

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Ms. Coopersmith practices criminal defense in all courts of the Bay Area. She devotes compassion and perseverance to her clients who may be facing a wide range of charges, from DUI, to drug trafficking, to white-collar crimes, to murder. Ms. Coopersmith previously served as a deputy public defender at the Solano County Public Defender’s Office. She has volunteered at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office.

Ms. Coopersmith first became acquainted with the courtroom clerking for United States District Court Judge Stewart Dalzell and working as an associate in the Litigation Department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. After graduating from Brown University, Ms. Coopersmith attended law school at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was an editor of the Law Review.

She gives back to her community as a member of the governing board for the Alameda County Bar Association’s Court-Appointed Attorney Program. Although not fluent, she speaks Spanish. On weekends, when not spending time with family, she likes to run and play tennis.
