Meet Veronica Soto
Veronica Soto serves as of counsel to Lamano Law Office with over 9 years of criminal law experience and 6 years as a civil litigator. Ms. Soto began her career as a Public Defender for the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office. She then became a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Los Angeles, working as a city prosecutor for 4 years before transferring to the general civil litigation unit for 6 years. Ms. Soto worked for 2 years as a contract lawyer with Lamano Law before officially joining our team of counsel.
Ms. Soto has 20 trials under her belt both in criminal and civil court. She is known for her outstanding client support in and out of the courtroom, her effective case strategies that have achieved dismissals in court, as well as favorable verdicts, and settlements.
Ms. Soto also has experience as a family law attorney where she helped clients with divorce, child custody, and property issues and as an immigration attorney where she represented clients in deportation proceedings and for applications of U.S. Citizenship. She speaks fluent Spanish.
Ms. Soto earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 2002 at Santa Clara University School of Law and served as an editor for the Computer and High Technology Law Journal. During law school, she served as the public relations coordinator for the Latin and Native American Law Students Association.
Outside of work with Lamano Law, Ms. Soto enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband and two sons. We are proud to have Ms. Soto on our team.
